A 19-year employee of the company, Paul transitioned to Owner on December 31st, 2013. Paul had been running The Primary Group as Managing Partner and President since 2011. Previously he held the Managing Director role for the Investment Products Division (from 2006), as well as roles of Recruiting Director, Recruiter, and Associate Recruiter. While responsible for client relationships, new business development, team training, and management, he has dedicated his efforts to actively participate in all aspects of the search process to focus on directing The Primary Group associates in providing quality candidates that meet the client’s individual needs. Paul is a graduate of Wilkes University with a degree in Political Science and Marketing. Paul also attained his CPC Certification from the National Association of Personnel Services in 2007.

Barbara Volz
Executive VP, Managing director

Barbara joined The Primary Group team in 2004. She is no stranger to the recruiting industry, having previously spent four years as a Campaign Support Director for a career management firm in Central Florida. There she worked with executives across industries including financial, manufacturing, retail, technology, and telecommunications to help them secure future leadership roles. Since 2004 she has successfully partnered with clients such as Fortune 500 organizations and boutique firms, growing their distribution organizations by placing sales professionals and leaders across product areas which include Individual/Group Insurance, Retirement, Disability, Alternative Investments, and Mutual Funds. She has a broad depth of knowledge and experience in distribution recruiting. Barbara brings focus, dedication, and follow-through to her searches because of her understanding and knowledge of our client’s and candidate’s needs. Barbara attained her CPC Certification from the National Association of Personnel Services in 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.

Cheyenne Rotunno
Vice President

Cheyenne began recruiting for The Primary Group in 2014. Because of Cheyenne’s competitive nature and collegiate and professional sports background, she brings a solid, results-driven approach to recruiting. In her time at The Primary Group, she has successfully placed financial professionals in the Sales Distribution, Sales Management, and Relationship Management areas across multiple product lines.

Erin Rogers
Office Coordinator

Erin has been with The Primary Group for over thirteen years in various capacities. Currently she handles multifaceted projects, graphic & web design, marketing support, database management, and business administration support to the Owner and Executive Vice President, collaborating on all aspects of the search process including document preparation and management, contracts, scheduling and planning of Owner's calendar,  meetings, and travel, as well as business development.

Grisel serves as the Finance Coordinator at The Primary Group. She is responsible for the bookkeeping and accounting of the company's finances, including payroll and banking.
